Imprecatory Prayer List for February 2010

I’m not certain how often Wiley Drake updates his imprecatory prayer list. I imagine it is daily, since he has a conference imprecatory prayer early every morning. His list is potentially as long as the great gray green greasy Limpopo river. In typical Southern Baptist fashion, to make the naughty list only takes a disagreement as trivial as method of Baptism.

"It's because I'm gay, isn't it?"

"It's because I'm gay, isn't it?"

I don’t have the complete list, but I will post the Top 10. A couple of things to keep in mind, straight from Wiley Drake:

  1. We have listed here only a few of those that we are praying for, first for their Salvation in Jesus, and if they continue to deny God and do unrighteous things to our Country we then agree with God that He take them out.
  2. To this list we suggest that any one you know that continues to favor and promote killing of our babies be added to the list after you have sought God and prayed for their Salvation in Jesus. This list should epecially have members of the Clergy and Media who continually promote the choice of death for our Children; red and yellow, black and white, they are ALL precious in His sight.

With his words in mind, let’s look at the Top 10 on the imprecatory prayer list.

  1. Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT)
  2. Senator John Ensign (R-NV)
  3. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA)
  4. Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner
  5. Attorney General Eric Holder
  6. Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL)/ Senator Roland Burris (D-IL)
  7. President Barack Obama
  8. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)
  9. Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) and the rest of the PMA Seven
  10. Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY)

As you can see, the Top 10 are all politically based, and active in our Federal Government.  Seven are in the Legislative Branch (#1-3, 6, 8-10) and three are in the Executive Branch (#4, 5, 7).

If you are looking for the Biblical justification for these choices, you would have to look through the reasons for each choice. That is, they were not all chosen because of their beliefs on abortion (or “killing babies” if you’d rather). I’m not even certain what Geithner’s beliefs are on abortion, nor do I personally care. He made the list due to tax fraud and general corruptedness.
